Rachna asks Gunjan did she ever think what she was going through and says she felt like running far away and never able to come back. She asks why does this happen to her. Gunjan says she understands and there’s nothing else they can do but to move forward. Rachna says why is she always brought closer to Rajeev and she will have to see the person she wanted to stay away from everyday now as her brother-in-law. She tells Gunjan that they’ll go home. Vihaan asks Rajeev what he thinks of Gunjan and he knows he knew Gunjan long before. Rajeev says she’s the perfect girl for him to bring him in line. Vihaan says only he can do that. Rajeev says only time will tell who will put who in line and then asks when’s the wedding. Vihaan says after Rajeev's that he too must get married and he says what a joke. Vihaan says he’s not joking and he can get married only after his older brother does. Vihaan says if he needs help finding a girl he’ll help. Rajeev tells him to do his work. Vihaan says he’s too busy with hockey to bother about a girl. He then asks Rajeev how does he find Rachna and isn’t she sweet and suggests that he must marry Rachna. Rajeev asks what he is saying and don’t know when he’ll grow up and that he’s going and Vihaan tells him to think over his suggestion. Rajeev annoyed on hearing the statement and tells him to leave and Vihaan says it’ll be a great combo to see two brothers with two sisters. Shail says its good they spoke to Akash and they should get Gunjan and Mayank engaged soon. Dayal thinks they should get married. Sangeeta tells Dayal that Akash needs to be given time to get things ready and its Mayank’s final year. Bua tells Sangeeta why wasn’t she understanding the matter when it was about Charu and Mayank. Sangeeta says because her aunt and uncle were harassing about the wedding. Dayal asks Seema what she thinks and she says whatever they think is best. Gunjan and Rachana come. Shail tells Gunjan they have a surprise for her that Akash is coming for her engagement and they were just discussing that. Shail tells Gunjan not to hesitate to ask for anything and that nothing should be left out in her engagement and then tells her to freshen up. Mayank drags Gunjan and tells her to come with him. She asks him what does he have to say. Mayank says that someone is coming and Gunjan says she knows her father is coming and that they are getting engaged. Mayank asks who told her. He says he wanted to tell her first. Mayank says she doesn’t look happy about it and she says she is but Mayank says she looks sad. Gunjan says she’s thinking about Vihaan. Mayank is confused and Gunjan realizes she almost spilled the beans and says she think Rachna and Vihaan are so different to which Mayank says its good as opposites attract and he’s sure that Rachna would be able to settle in time. Mayank tells Gunjan not to call Vihaan by his name but to call him brother in-law. Gunjan says he’s of their age and in college so she’ll call him by his name but Mayank tells her the family may not like it. Gunjan says she won’t cause she want to irritate him. Gunjan tells Mayank she’s going down and that they won’t like them meeting up and Mayank says she’s become understanding but to meet him at the terrace at 5. Gunjan says okay and goes. Shail comes into the room and sees Rachna upset and asks why. Rachna says she has a headache and Shail says she’ll massage oil on her head and the pain will disappear in minutes. Rachna refuses at first but Shail insists and starts putting the oil. Rachna asks her mother why doesn’t God fulfill wishes and Shail says because He knows what’s best for their future and provides the best. Rachna asks why can’t He grant something that she really wants. Shail says because what she wants now may not be the same thing she wants in the future and she should leave everything in God’s hands and trust Him. Shail asks Rachna what she wanted from God. Rachna says it was her friend that wanted something and she has everything and a very nice mother. Gunjan is getting ready and tells Rachna she has a date with Mayank on the terrace. Gunjan reaches the terrace and finds a gift kept for her ( flowers and a designer watch ) and gets elated as she believes that Mayank had brought a gift for her and says Mayank is really good with surprises. She opens the watch to see it when Vihaan asks if she likes it. Gunjan is shocked to see him and asks him what is he doing here and he says they have a date at 5 and how did he get up here and he says Shail told him Gunjan is upstairs. Gunjan is surprised and shocked when she learns that Vihaan had bought a gift for her and is nervously looking around if Mayank is there. Vihaan insists on wearing the watch for her and says this is his first gift for her and tells her to keep quiet when she protest. Mayank comes there and sees Vihaan holding Gunjan’s hand and putting the watch. Mayank is shocked when he finds Gunjan and Vihaan on the terrace and looks angry. Mayank sees Vihaan and Gunjan together where they are holding hands but Gunjan manage to covers up while Vihaan says that he has come to meet his sister. Before anything comes out Shail comes and Vihaan leaves. Mayank asks her why he was holding her hand and she says he was just checking out the watch. Mayank wants Gunjan to call Vihaan brother in-law. Gunjan and Rachna talks while Gunjan gives the watch to Rachna. Vihaan calls Gunjan and tells her he will be surprising her soon. He tells her that he will be coming in her dreams. Gunjan then decide they have to tell Vihaan the truth and she will tell him tomorrow morning. Vihaan decides he will tell everyone who his fiancee is. Seema and Sangeeta plotting against Gunjan as usual while Shail is praying. The bell rings and a bunch of boys and girls in shorts skirts enter asking for Gunjan. They hug seeing Gunjan leaving the two witches with their mouth hanging open. Gunjan is very excited seeing her old friends and invite them. A boy teases Gunjan about gaining weight and Mayank does not like it. Gunjan is all touchy feely with the guys irritating Mayank. Rachna asks Gunjan if she will introduce her. One guy is all praises about Gunjan to mayank. He also asks her about her mba plans and sudden decision to get married. Her friends have come on a field trip and then make a plan to eat pani puri some day. When asked if Mayank will join, Gunjan replies in negative adding fuel to the fire. The friends leave after lot of small talk promising to come back later. Gunjan and Rachna leave for college . Mayank walks out and Sangeeta is happy .Seema and Sangeeta comes in Mayank's room, start praising Gunjan and show him some jewellery and a saree that is supposed to be Gunjan for satya narayan katha which are old fashioned. Sangeeta talks about how daughter and daughter in-law are different. Mayank asks his mother not to worry and that Gunjan will wear it. Mayank hopes that Gunjan won't break his trust. Gunjan messages Vihaan to call her back urgently. Gunjan spots Rajeev and asks him to give his land line number. She reasons out that she wants to talk to Vihaan. Gunjan rings at the Aggarwal residence. Vihaan answers the call but he does not let her talk. He tells Gunjan that he would meet her in a hotel on the subsequent day at 4. Gunjan comes home, Seema and Sangeeta give her some old jewellery and red saree. Seema tells Gunjan that she wants her to wear her sari and her ancestral jewelry during Satyanarayan puja stating it's for Mayank's great grand mothers. Seema is happy Gunjan will reject it. Gunjan agrees to wear the sari. Mayank, who is eavesdropping on their conversation, from the widow gets elated when Gunjan agrees to take it. Gunjan shows the saree and jewellery to Rachna. Rachna apologizes for putting her in the situation. Gunjan says its not her fault. Mayank questions Gunjan about her Mumbai friends. Gunjan teases Mayank about being possessive, and drinking tequila shots. Mayank thanks Gunjan that she agreed to wear the stuff his mother gave her. They have a cute moment together while Mayank touches her face, Kisses her hand and tries to convince her to bunk her lecture tomorrow. Gunjan smartly handles the situation and thinks that she has to meet Vihaan at 4 and Rachna wants them to tell the truth. Gunjan refuses saying she has a test. Mayank asks her how many tests and questions if she is going to meet someone else. Mayank teases her if she is going on a date with someone else. Seema calls Mayank and the conversation did not proceed. Gunjan feels bad for lying to him. Mayank's friend, Shree coincidently takes Mayank to the same hotel where Vihaan had asked Gunjan to meet him. He wants to book room for some guest. Gunjan takes Rachna along with her to the hotel. Mayank wants to check the tariff before booking the rooms and is requiring at the reception. Rachna tells Gunjan that Banarasis a small town but Gunjan reassures her that no one will turn up there. Gunjan shows Rachna the gold jewellery and says she has a surprise for her. The duo gets surprised when the manager informs them that Vihaan has booked a room. Gunjan and Rachna walk in at the same time and a man asks them if they have come to meet Vihaan and escorts them. Shree spots Gunjan and asks Mayank if the girl is Gunjan. Mayank turns.
