Sameer returns from his vacation and is shocked to find that Aditya has sacrificed his own job to safeguard his job. Sameer tries to convince Aditya to tell the truth to the Board of Directors. But Aditya says that he does not want Aarti to go through the problems that Vidya faces everyday. He also asks Sameer to stop meddling in his personal affairs. But Sameer refuses to keep quiet and warns Kataria that if he does not rehire Aditya, he will tell the Board of Directors that Kataria is the main culprit behind the fraud. But Kataria remains unfazed and says that even if Sameer tells the truth, he will end up losing his own job. Damodar gives Aditya a last chance to repay the debt. Meanwhile, Aarti finds out about the problems Aditya and Vidya have been facing in their personal life. But when Aarti tries to discuss things with Aditya, he refuses to talk about it. Sameer tries to wash away his guilt and tells Kataria that he will not only tell the police about the fraud he committed,but will also admit that he was Kataria's accomplice. Kataria initially thinks that Sameer is bluffing, but when he witnesses Sameer's determination, he feels that rehiring Aditya might be the only way to save his skin. Aditya requests the manager of his office to lend him Rs. 3 lakh as he urgently needs to repay the loan amount to Damodar. The manager gets angry and bluntly refuses to lend such a large amount. Aditya begs to him but in vain. Dejected and frustrated, Aditya returns home in a drunken state. Vidya controls him. She calls up Damodar and requests him to grant some more time to Aditya to repay theamount. Damodar agrees. The next morning, Vidya suffers from a terrible stomach ache. Antara notices her state. She goes inside and informs Aditya that Vidya needs water. Aditya is amazed.
